The Western League is an Independent Professional Winter Baseball in the United States that is played in February and the first week of March. The League will consist of four teams, ten games per team, four weeks of games and one weeking of Training Camp. The league will be completed before MLB Spring Training Report Date and will allow players to showcase themselves to be signed or resigned by Minor League Baseball Teams.
Training Camp will occur from February 1-7.
Players can group and save of housing during training camp. There will be a draft of players on February 7. Players will move into host families on February 8. Regular season will begin February 8, 2019. The league will be a four week league without a Championship Series.
The Western League will be based in Bakersfield, California and Wasco, California. The primary stadium will be Sam Lynn Ballpark and Wasco Recreation Park.
All players who are wanting to play must register. Registration Page is here. The Western League is open to all players who are 18 and over and trying to get signed into affliated minor league baseball. There are no restrictions due to prior participation in other leagues.

There will be no single day tryout camps for the Western League. Players who wish to play must attend Training Camp. There will be a draft at the end of training camp. All players are eligible to tryout There are no restrictions on players based on age or previous league participation.
